• Lot Parking – With the Rail Yard townhouses next door, swim team families can park in the main lot adjacent to OSC, but please instruct them to not park in the spaces in front any of the townhouses, spots with signage, or use the entrance that goes between the townhouses and apartments sitting on Apple Road. 
• Street Parking – If necessary, parking waivers are in place for families to park in surrounding Oaklands neighborhood streets, but please heed the following information that the City of Newark provided to us. IT IS IMPARATIVE that you please communicate this with your swim team families as the Newark Police Department will be ready to ticket cars not in compliance: The residential wavier is restricted to the following roads: 
  •  Syphered Dr - park on right side of road (going away from Hillside)
  • Cheltenham Rd 
  • Dallam Rd 
  • Old Oak Rd Parking on Forest and at Hillside Park is strictly for park use/residents.

  Parking Guidelines (Parking is only allowed where posted). 

•  The ‘Residential Parking Permit Required Sign’ must be located under a ‘No Parking Sign’ to make it a valid parking area. 

• If there is ONLY a ‘No Parking Sign,’ then no parking is allowed (Most of the streets are one-sided parking). 

•  Outside of the permit waiver, all vehicles must be parked in accordance with City parking rules (Tickets will be issued for not following these). 

• No partially obstructing or blocking a driveway. Vehicles should be parked in the direction of traffic (passenger side to curb). 15 feet from fire hydrant. 30 feet from stop sign.
