- No running on the pool deck
- When swimming backstroke, know your stroke counts from the last set of flags to avoid hitting your head on the wall.
- Thunder/Lightening: At the first sound of thunder or lightening, the meet will stop immediately. All swimmers and spectators are to go to their cars and wait for communication from the coaches. Alerts will go out as soon as something has been decided. No one is allowed on deck. We must wait 30 minutes after the last thunder or lightening. In the event the meet is called, you will receive an alert the meet is over.
- Rain: Never fun but part of summer swimming. It’s a good idea to bring large trash bags to keep the kids belongings dry. Bring extra towels and clothes for warmth.
- **Coaches retain the right to pull a child from a race if they have a concern for the safety of the swimmer.
