Hi everyone!

Our last home swim meet is this Wednesday against Fairfield!

Here are a few reminders:

Arrival Times

Families with swimmers in the 6U and 8U age group are expected to arrive by 4:30 PM to help set up the pool. Snack bar helpers are also expected to arrive by 4:30 PM to help set up. We ask that everyone else arrives at 5:00 PM, swimmers must be ready to hop in at 5:15 PM for warm up! Additionally, if anyone has an extra canopy please bring it so we can provide as much shade around the perimeter of the pool!

Parking

Our front lot will be saved for Fairfield since they are a bigger team. Levisos Realtor is graciously allowing our team to use their lot and grass lot. Sudans and smaller cars please park here. SUV’s and truck’s park in the backyard. There will be plenty of parking lot attendants to guide you.

During the Swim Meet

Due to the heat wave this week, we will allow a quick pool dip during halftime. All spectators are welcome to bring their bathing suits.

When your swimmer is done swimming in a race, please make sure they stay in the pool and shake hands until everyone in that race finishes. When your swimmer isn’t lined up for an event they are expected to be cheering at the shallow end of the pool! The more cheering and sportsmanship, the better!

At the End of the Meet

All families are highly encouraged to help clean up the pool area, put away equipment, and return chairs for members. The more help we have the quicker everything gets done! Thank you for helping us leave the facility ready for everyone to enjoy!

6U & 8U Families

Please bring something to help keep your swimmer occupied during the meet. (Books, board or card games,etc) For safety and organization, swimmers should remain on the new deck and avoid running around the facility. Our junior coaches need to be able to quickly locate them when it’s time to head to the ready bench for their events.
