Individual Photos - Wear Team Suit

Swimmers will have the opportunity to have their individual photos taken (or with their siblings) today by the pool. This is in conjunction with the team photo that will be taken on Saturday 6/29 before the meet. Be sure to wear their team suit for both photos. If your swimmer does not have a team suit (or plain black), please have them wear their new MV tie-dye shirt. |

Drink Donations Due
We kindly request each family donate drinks for our snack bar held during all home swim meets. Thank you very much! Last name A-H: 1 case ea of water and soda (either Coke, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, Sprite, Diet Coke, or Orange) Last name I-Z: 1 case ea of water and 12oz. bottles of Gatorade or Powerade. Please place your donations neatly inside the First Aid shed. |

Tie Dye T-shirt Day After Practice!
Maple Valley Pool

All swimmers who purchased a team tshirt, will receive their shirt in a plastic bag, rubber bands, and directions.(around the 12th depending on delivery) Make sure you write your child's name on the shirt before tying with rubber bands. Bring your prepared t-shirts to your practice along with the bag. After their practice, we will dye shirts in the backyard. We suggest to wear an old tshirt to protect their suits from dye. We will provide everything they need to dye their shirts. You will take home the shirts and let it sit in the bag for 24 hours then follow the directions on how to rinse and wash the shirt. Everyone should be able to wear their new shirts to the first meet on the 15th. IF YOU HAVE A SWIMMER WHO ATTENDS THURSDAY NIGHT PRACTICE: bring your shirts that night to practice and they can dye their shirt after practice. NOT ABLE TO MAKE EITHER AM OR PM PRACTICE?: Give Heather or Stacy your swimmers PREPARED shirt in the bag and someone will dye it for them. They can pick up the shirt on Friday. |

Evening Practices Begin (Tues & Thurs)

Evening practices will be held on Tuesday's and Thursday's starting on 6/11/24 until 7/11/24. These are available if your swimmer is unable to attend morning practices or they would like more time in the pool practicing. These practices are for all age groups. Two lanes will be roped off for swimmers as the members will have access to the rest of the pool. Be sure to bring all of your practice gear. |

Time Trials - All Swimmers
Maple Valley Pool
Start: 6:00 PM
End: 7:30 PM
All swimmers will be expected to attend "in house" time trials. This allows the coaches to have a time for several events for all of the swimmers to use as a guide for the first couple of meets. All swimmers will have a warm-up and then coaches will organize everyone in their lanes. Kids will practice starts with the starter system as if it was a meet. We ask for a few parents to stick around to time. |

First Practice - All Age Groups for the Next 2 Weeks

Here we go! Practice is for all age groups. Baby Whales (5-6yo) will swim approximately 45 minutes. There will be a swim evaluation for all new swimmers. The first two weeks of practice will be held from 6-7:30pm; 1st Week: 5/28,29,30 and 2nd Week 6/3,4,5,6. No practice on Friday 5/31 and 6/7 as the pool is open to members 4-8pm. |

Swim Team Banquet

All swimmers and their families, grandparents included, are welcome to attend the banquet to celebrate the swimmers accomplishments. Dinner will be served along with drinks and cake. Homemade desserts are always welcome. The awards ceremony will be held after dinner.
