Entry Fees: (competing swimmers free) Ages 10 & Over, with program: $3.00 Ages 6-10, no program: $1.00 Ages 6 & Under: Free Extra Program(s): $2.00 ea. General Admission w/out program: $2.00 Cash Only A canopy will be set up in the field for all MV parents and swimmers. Bring chairs and a canopy if you have one. There will be chairs by the pool to watch your swimmers race. Swimmers who finalize in the top 16 will compete in Championships held on 7/22/23.

Entry Fees: (competing swimmers free) Ages 10 & Over, with program: $3.00 Ages 6-10, no program: $1.00 Ages 6 & Under: Free Extra Program(s): $2.00 ea. General Admission w/out program: $2.00 Cash Only A canopy will be set up in the field. Parents and swimmers bring chairs and a canopy if you have one, and plan to sit with the swimmers. Sat Jul 15 2023	At Fairfield Fairfield Crest, 1 Fremont Rd, Newark, DE 19711 Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:30 AM End: 12:00 PM (estimated) Last dual meet of the season! Here we go! Who is going to get a best time? Meet theme - MV Spirit Wear! Where it all - old, new, whatever you have. Everyone arrive by 8:15am and check-in with the coach at the entrance. Warm-up at 8:30am Bring all of your gear and be sure to bring everything back. All MV families are expected to pick up trash and put the chairs back where you found them.
Wed Jul 12 2023	Beat the Ref! After the meet Start: 8:30 PM End: 9:30 PM Our multitasking Starter & Referee this summer, Brian James, wants to challenge the kids after the last home meet on Wednesday. He will swim up to 10 races, 25 fly and 25 free against the kids. Here’s the trick, if the child wins the race, Brian will pay the winner $10 and the swim team will receive $10. If Brian wins the race, he pays the swim team $5. 18U go at the start, 14U kids (not Brian) get 2 sec head start, 12U kids (again, not Brian) get 3 sec head start, 10U kids get 4 sec head start. 8U kids get 6 sec head start. Brian will swim 3 or 4 heats of fly (swimmers swim same stroke) the rest are freestyle. 5 swimmers per heat(including Brian), up to 10 races. First come first serve. Be sure to RSVP the person who wants to swim against Brian. This will be at the end of meet, which will be around 8:30 because Brian runs a tight ship and is an efficient meet runner. Who is going to beat the Ref?
Wed Jul 12 2023	Home Arundel at Maple Valley Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:30 PM End: 8:30 PM (estimated) All 6U-8U families please arrive by 4:30pm to help setup for the meet. Everyone else arrive by 5:00pm for the team photo. We need to squeeze this in before warm-ups and start the meet on time. Please wear your team suit or plain black suit for the photo. Warm-up 5:30pm Meet theme - Neon! Which age group will wear the most neon? Bring all of your gear and be sure to bring it home. Mon-Tue Jul 10-11 2023	Movie Night for Swim Team (Sleepover Cancelled) Start: 8:00 PM End: 9:30 PM (estimated) Movie is still on but sleepover is cancelled, due to not enough campers and no chaperones. Please see your email to vote for which movie the kids would like to watch. Bring your floats! Be sure to RSVP please.
Sat Jul 8 2023	Home Oakwood Valley at Maple Valley Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:30 AM End: 12:00 PM (estimated) All 10U-12U families please arrive by 7:45am to help setup the pool. Meet theme - Calling all Superhero's! Report to the pool. It's time to show off all of your super powers. Everyone else please arrive by 8:15am and check-in with the coach at the front desk Warm-up at 8:30 sharp. Swim hard and do you best! Everyone stays until the end with a closing cheer and handshakes. All families are expected to help put away swim meet equipment, clean up trash, chairs and umbrella's back where they belong. Picnic area also cleaned up and tables put back where they belong. Wed Jul 5 2023	At Crestmoor Crestmoor Swim Club, 640 W Summit Ave, Wilmington, DE 19804 Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:30 PM End: 8:30 PM (estimated) Everyone arrive by 5:15pm and check-in with the coach at the entrance. Warm-up at 5:30 sharp. Meet theme - Red, White and Blue! Don't put away the 4th of July stuff yet! Keep the sparklers at home. We sit along the side next to the deep end. There is a large yard behind our seating area. All swimmers are expected to NOT run around in this area but to cheer for your teammates instead. Bring all of your gear and get ready for a tough meet. They beat us by only 4 points last year and Coach Joey would LOVE to beat them this year. Relay races are always the best. All MV families are expected to clean up our area and put their chairs back the way you found it before leaving.
Tue Jul 4 2023	No Practice - Cardboard Regatta Happy Independence Day! Don't forget about the Cardboard Regatta! Make a boat only using cardboard and duct tape, paint is NOT allowed. Prizes for the fastest boat, team spirit and the Titanic award. Park your boat by 4pm. Come celebrate the day at the pool and enjoy the festivities! Hope to see everyone there! Carboard Regatta Rules
Thu Jun 29 2023	Whale- A-Thon and Breakfast Start: 9:00 AM End: 11:30 AM Get ready for fun, food, music and lots of swimming! This will be held during regular practice times for your age group. All swimmers are expected to participate. This fundraiser helps provide end of season awards, help maintain and replace equipment, and more. Look in your whale mailbox for more details at a later date. Plus it's a lot of fun and a great challenge for the kids.
